Identity & Self-Advocacy is a new program at Aspiring Youth designed to help neurodiverse youth ages 8–12 build the foundation for healthy relationships and personal growth. Using our experiential learning approach, this group creates an engaging space where participants can practice skills, ask questions, and learn through doing.
The program explores the basics of healthy relationships, including building sustainable friendships, setting boundaries, and understanding safe and respectful interactions. It also goes deeper, helping youth understand how caring for themselves, their mental and physical health, financial awareness, and confidence navigating systems - supports stronger and healthier connections with others.
At its core, this program is about showing that everything is connected. To build healthy relationships, we first learn how to be healthy, confident, and empowered individuals.
